Curry Health Center processes COVID-19 tests in our on-site laboratory and provides same-day results. Students can access these results on the Health Portal.
Who should get tested?
Please call to schedule testing if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting

What should I do if I think I have just a cold? Do I still get tested?
Yes, please get tested. Whether you think it's a cold, allergies or the flu, please get tested. Testing helps us stop the spread of COVID-19.
How soon will I get my results?
I may have been exposed to someone who recently tested positive for COVID. Should I get tested?
You are at risk of contracting COVID-19 if you have been in close contact with someone with the virus, ie: you were within 6 feet, for an extended time period, typically >15 minutes. People with COVID-19 are typically contagious in the 2 days prior to developing symptoms, up until 10 days after they become symptomatic or test positive for COVID-19. If you are worried that you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please call (406)243-4330 to talk with a medical provider.
What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19?
Please refer to our Quarantine and Isolation Checklist by clicking here. The Missoula County Public Health Department will contact you and provide specific guidance on isolation. If you live in UM housing, the UM Housing office will also contact you to provide guidance on where to isolate.
