Who should get tested?

Please call to schedule testing if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms.

What should I do if I think I have just a cold? Do I still get tested?

Yes, please get tested. Whether you think it's a cold, allergies or the flu, please get tested. Testing helps us stop the spread of COVID-19.

How soon will I get my results?

Curry Health Center processes its COVID-19 tests in our on site laboratory. The results are sent via a secure message to your student email account with in 24 hours.

I may have been exposed to someone who recently tested positive for COVID. Should I get tested?

You are at risk of contracting COVID-19 if you have been in close contact with someone with the virus, ie: you were within 6 feet, for an extended time period, typically >15 minutes. People with COVID-19 are typically contagious in the 2 days prior to developing symptoms, up until 5 days after they become symptomatic or test positive for COVID-19. If you are worried that you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please call (406)243-2122 to talk with a medical provider.

What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19?

The Missoula County Public Health Department will contact you and provide specific guidance on isolation. If you live on campus in UM dorms, you should contact the Housing office and they will provide guidance on where to isolate.
