Medical Appointments Offered

Appointments are similar to that of your family health care provider. Students are encouraged to establish with a primary care provider for management of ongoing health issues.

An office visit has a $20 charge. Lab and X-ray are billed separately.

If you are unable to make your appointment or wish to change your appointment please call the clinic at least 30 minutes prior.  There will be a No-show fee of $20.00 if you do not call to cancel your appointment.

The Curry Health Center is made up of several departments all working collaboratively with one common goal:  keeping you well so you can pursue your academic goals while a student at UM.   In addition to the Medical Clinic providers and consultants, you have access to Dental, Counseling, Wellness and Pharmacy all conveniently  located under one roof on the UM campus.

Curry Health Center provides comprehensive sexual and reproductive health needs for all.   This includes STI screening, PrEP/PEP, many contraception options, annual exams with pap screening, HPV vaccine, erectile dysfunction and testicular cancer screening.

The medical clinic at the Curry Health Center works collaboratively and confidentially with Counseling Services to address a wide variety of concerns that could interfere with your academic success.  Common concerns might be ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleep and eating disorders and alcohol and tobacco addiction. 

You may have the exciting opportunity to travel to new parts of the world while you’re a student at UM.  It doesn’t matter if you’re traveling with a group of fellow students or off on an adventure of your own, a travel visit is essential to a safe and healthy trip. The Curry Health Center has one of only two providers certified in travel health in the entire state of Montana so be sure to make a visit with Dionne Peterson, RN part of your travel planning

If you have an urgent medical problem, like a serious illness, laceration, UTI symptoms, migraine headache, asthma flare or recent orthopedic injury, you can walk in during our walk in hours daily M-F from 8:30 – 11:00 and 1:00 – 4:00 and we will see you as soon as we can.
