Food Access
Above all else, food should be affordable and accessible. UM Campus Dining is working to make sure more people have access to nutritious food at prices they can afford.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
To accommodate guests participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Campus Dining accepts Electronic Benefit Cards at the Corner Store and the UC Market. Anyone interested in the SNAP program, or with questions about eligibility, can find information on the Montana Department of Health and Human Services website.
Workplace C.S.A.
UM Campus Dining has partnered with the Western Montana Growers Cooperative to establish a workplace CSA program here on campus. Students, faculty and staff can order summer or fall CSA shares through the Coop and have them delivered here to campus once a week throughout the summer and fall. SNAP participants, be sure to ask about how you can use SNAP dollars to pay for your CSA. People interested in becoming a CSA member can contact the Coop at csa@wmgcoop.com. More information is available on their website..
