Registering with Disability Services

We conduct initial meetings by phone, Zoom, or email. 

To receive services, students take the following steps: 

Step 1. Contact Disability Services by email at dss@umontana.edu or by phone at 406-243-2243 to schedule an initial meeting with a coordinator.

Step 2. Complete an initial meeting with a coordinator and provide disability documentation. The coordinator provides information about the various reasonable accommodations and/or services that address the student's functional limitations.  

*If students are more than 15 minutes late for their appointments, Disability Services will ask the student to reschedule the appointment.

After registering with Disability Services

  • Students will receive a letter of verification from their Disability Services coordinator.
  • Students are responsible for contacting the instructor with the letter and requesting accommodations in a timely manner.
