For faculty: Making electronic course content accessible
Our faculty resources page includes key points on making electronic course content accessible. This includes Ally for Moodle, how to set up extended test times in Moodle, and the campus contacts for captioning.
COVID-19 and Remote instruction accommodation
For those who have underlying health concerns related to COVID-19, students should work with their advisors to select the courses that allow remote instruction. Disability Services can provide a verification letter to eligible students. Read Remote instruction accommodation.
How to register with Disability Services
Initial meetings with coordinators will be conducted by phone or Zoom. To schedule an initial appointment, contact Disability Services at firstname.lastname@example.org or 406-243-2243.
Our physical office opens but in-person services by appointments only
Our physical office at the Mountain Campus is open. However, in-person services are available on an appointment-only basis. Contact us at email@example.com or 406-243-2243 for appointments.
How to submit documentation
- Upload documents in Accommodate and then notify your coordinator (if you already have access to Accommodate). See How to Submit Documentation.
- Email documents to your coordinator or our office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Fax documents to our office at 406-243-5330.
To obtain a verification letter
Log in to Accommodate and download your verification letter. See Technical Guide. If you are unable to find the letter in Accommodate, email your coordinator. To find staff’s emails, go to Meet Our Team.
Don't remember who my coordinator is
Check your verification letter. If you are still unsure, contact our office at email@example.com or 406-243-2243.
Don't remember my approved accommodations
Log in to Accommodate, click Accommodation tab, and then click Application tab. Your approved accommodations are listed on the page. Contact your coordinator with questions.
DSS Testing Center
The DSS Testing Center is open. Eligible students can request testing accommodations and use the DSS Testing Center. We have limited seating due to social distancing. For questions contact DSS Testing Center at firstname.lastname@example.org or 406-243-4216.
