- Offer and strongly encourage participation in discrimination and harassment training for employees, including an emphasis on how to foster inclusive learning and working environments
- Promote UM Allies Training for all faculty, staff, and administrators
- Promote Campus-wide Indian Education for All training and embed into New Faculty and New Staff Orientations
- Provide campus-wide advisor trainings through the DEI-focused Advising Council subcommittee Critical Advising Practices for Equity (CAPE)
- Provide faculty with access to diversity, equity, and inclusion training, focused on application to teaching (see PFA 2)
- Ensure all training opportunities are easily accessible through the Diversity website and OOLD websites
- Strongly encourage faculty evaluation committees to complete implicit bias trainings

- Develop a system for tracking participation and encouraging managers/supervisors to promote participation
- Strongly encourage search committees to complete implicit bias training
- Develop an employee certificate for those who complete an identified set of DEI trainings
- Incentivize participation in trainings by building the training expectation into performance reviews
