Community Resources

Each year, EmpowerMT provides training to thousands of students and educators across Montana that empower them with skills to create safer, more inclusive school communities.

Youth Forward (Empower MT)

Youth Forward is a safe and supportive drop-in space for youth 13-18 who identify as LGBTQ+. Youth Forward hosts weekly activities such as interactive discussions, peer-to-peer support, leadership development, guest speakers, and community engagement.

Montana GSA Network (Empower MT)

The MT GSA Network provides support and guidance for all clubs – from emerging GSAs to well-established groups seeking to take on a significant project. They have a compilation of local, statewide, and national resources, tools, and media catalogs for students, educators, and families.

Gay Men’s Task Force

The Task Force organizes retreats for men who are gay, bisexual, or have sex with men (MSM). We make recommendations about gay men’s health issues, conduct peer outreach, advocate for gay men’s health, and work with local health agencies and community-based organizations to help fulfill our mission.
