Students do not need to take online exams at the ODE Testing Center. However, if students require a reader, a scribe, or a proctor, they must schedule exams in advance with the testing center.

We need your test accommodation approved by your instructor's agreement that you take your test at the Testing Center. If you have difficulty obtaining your instructor's response, we recommend you email your instructors by copying dss.testing@mso.umt.edu and your access consultant. If the problem persists, contact the Testing Center and ask them to hold a space temporarily for you.

The ODE Testing Center requires your instructor's verification that the exam date has changed.

If it is 5 days in advance, cancel your old exam booking and submit a new one for the new exam date through Accommodate. If it is less than 5 days in advance, you or your instructor must email the ODE Testing Center with the new date.

To ask questions during the exam, please arrange in advance with your instructors. You should ask your instructors the best way to contact them if you have a question during your exam.

The instructor can email the ODE Testing Center directly to provide additional instructions.

Online test booking will only populate testing slots 5 days in advance. If you must make up an exam sooner, contact the ODE Testing Center via email with your instructor cc’d. Instructors will need to provide approval to reschedule.

No, we don't. The Office for Disability Equity does not offer disability evaluation. If you are looking for diagnosticians, contact our office. Our access consultants can provide a list of practitioners in the Missoula area so you can seek testing such as a learning disability evaluation.

The Office for Disability Equity does not provide testing accommodations for non-disability-related reasons. It is up to the instructors' discretion on whether to grant extended test time or other test accommodations to English language learners. Additionally, instructors are responsible for the administration of any exams they wish to extend or accommodate for English language learners.
