A nationally known disability activist, Nina G, will present a workshop on creating a diverse environment for all people, including individuals with disabilities, on Monday, March 21 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in University Center Room 326-327. This Access Partners workshop is sponsored by the Rural Institute and is open to all UM faculty, staff and students.
Nina G is a stuttering stand-up comedian, speaker, author and producer. Through her use of humor in order to validate disabilities, Nina G will present her personal experiences, giving suggestions for positive interactions with people with disabilities and creating an inclusive campus environment.
Nina G will also present "Going Beyond Inspirational" at 7 p.m. Monday, 21 in the University Center Theater. Read the news release.
