What is Threat Assessment?
Behavioral threat assessment for K-12 schools is a process of identification, investigation, management, and assessment around school threats that is a team-based approach to determine the best ways to help, mitigate, and support a person or persons away from violence to themselves or others.
The Montana Safe Schools Center can provide a 2-hour overview of how to build a threat assessment team or a two-day course to train school personnel.
