Rebekah Brassfield

M.S. Student in Systems Ecology

Personal Summary

I study how bumble bees acquire the nutrients they need for growth and development using ecological stoichiometry, which tracks elements from the food of the consumer, in this case pollen, to the body of the consumer, the bumble bee.

Education

BS in Biology from Concordia University Nebraska, 2017

Research Interests

Bumble bee foraging, phenology, species distribution models, RandomForest, ecological stoichiometry and biological modeling
