Personal Summary

I am a PhD student in the W.A. Franke College of Forestry & Conservation's Forest Ecology Lab at the University of Montana, advised by Dr. Andrew Larson. My research focuses on understanding the natural role of wildfire, how ecosystems respond to disturbance, and how to make public lands accessible to all. I am passionate about conducting science in transparent and creative ways, and linking art and science to communicate the findings in accessible and engaging ways.
