Faculty have a vested interest in areas of academic excellence, as well as the general welfare of the institution. Serving on Faculty Senate Committees or Other University Committees  provides an opportunity to strengthen collegiality and shared purpose with colleagues.  Consultation among the professoriate and active faculty participation on committees assures the success of the University.
