CALT 2019 Regional Conference
UM's English Language Institute is hosting the CALT (Classroom Assessment in Language Teaching) 2019 Regional Conference on the campus of the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana, Friday, September 27 to Saturday, September 28, 2019.
An opening reception and the keynote address will take place Friday, 4 - 7 pm. Concurrent sessions will occur all day Saturday.
We are seeking proposals for conference presentations related to research or investigations that focus on assessment in the language classroom. All presentations will last 40 minutes, with 10 minutes for and questions/discussion, and a 10-minute break between concurrent sessions.

Since 2011, Dr. Eddy White has been the Assessment Coordinator at the University of Arizona’s Center for English as a Second Language (CESL). He is also an Associate Professor in the College of Humanities. He has been a teacher trainer since 2006, which has included publishing, presenting, and teaching courses about assessment. His primary areas of teaching, research and interest are teacher-made testing, summative assessment, proficiency testing, and promoting assessment literacy in the language teaching profession.
In 2016, he co-founded the CALT (Classroom Assessment in Language Teaching) Conference at the University of Arizona.
