Tilburg University is located in Tilburg, the Netherlands. With 19,000 students from over 110 nations studying in 75 highly-ranked degree programs (35 of which are taught entirely in English), this university is UM’s newest gateway to the world. Tilburg ranks among the top 50 universities in the world in Economics & Business, Psychology, and Law, and among the top 250 universities in the world. Whether you’re interested in Human Communication, Law and Public Administration, Media and Society, Theology, Economics and Management, Data Science, Social and Behavioral Sciences, or many other majors, Tilburg has classes for UM students to take and faculty to teach in English.  


Tilburg is the 7th largest city in the Netherlands, and one of the Netherlands’ major college towns (about 25% of Tilburg residents are students). It is centrally located, just a short train ride to Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Delft, Gouda, and other major European cities such as Antwerp and Brussels. London, Paris, Berlin, and Luxembourg are also within easy reach by a short plane ride from Eindhoven airport. The majority of the population speaks English, and the Netherlands is known for its openness, inventiveness, and proneness toward collaboration with others.
