Dailey Study Abroad Scholarships
The University of Montana offers up to two Dailey Study Abroad Scholarships of $1,500 in support of a full-year study abroad program in a country where English is not commonly spoken. All undergraduates at the University of Montana-Missoula are eligible to apply; preference shall be given to individuals who graduated from a Montana high school. The application deadline is March 15 for the following academic year.

Travel to Ireland: Wintersession
Students must register for HC 295.80 (1 credit) autumn semester as a prerequisite for the winter travel. Only students committed to the study abroad will be permitted to sign up for the autumn course. Students must also register for HC 196.80 (1 credit) for spring semester.

The trip is a rich, deep introduction to the history, literature, religion, politics, and other elements of Irish culture. Throughout Ireland, we will visit ancient ruins, medieval monasteries and castles, beautiful sea cliffs, and sites of literary, political, and emigration history. In addition, we will have the benefit of several extremely talented and knowledgeable professional tour guides.
The trip is capped at approximately 23 students, so apply soon. The trip is open to students who are not members of the Honors College who have earned a 3.0 or higher GPA.
