APPLICATION INFORMATION

There are 30 spaces available for the 2024 Schwanke Honors Institute. The application deadline for the 2024 Schwanke Honors Institute is March 15^th, 2024. If space is available after this date, applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

Apply early! There is no fee to submit your application.

How to Apply:

1. Start by considering which of the two courses offered you would like to attend, as the application will ask you to rate your preference. Please note, when submitting your application, you are applying to the Schwanke Honors Institute program as a whole, and not a specific course.
2. The application will ask you to provide supplemental materials, including the items listed below. You will NOT be able to save a draft when you are working on it, and you will NOT be able to edit the application once you have submitted it. 

• Unofficial High School Transcript. The application requires your unofficial high school transcript. PDF or Word are acceptable formats to upload in the application.
• Personal Statement. In 500 words or less, you will need to describe your interest in participating in the program. Please be specific in the relevant experiences you have had, what you are interested in learning, and why you would like to participate in this program.
• Reference. Admission to the program will require a reference from a high school teacher, counselor, or coach. Instructions for submitting the reference are in the application.

3. Complete and submit the online application in one sitting. You will receive an automated email confirmation once your application has been submitted.
