Thanks to generous support from the Schwanke family, a limited number of need-based scholarships are available to participants of the program every summer. Scholarship awards apply toward Schwanke Honors Institute program costs ($2500) and cannot be applied towards auxiliary costs of participation (for example, travel expenses). Please submit your scholarship application at the same time that you submit your Schwanke Institute application. 

The priority deadline for scholarship applications is March 4^th, 2024. Students will be notified within two weeks after the priority deadline if they have been awarded a scholarship. If funds remain available after the March 4^th deadline, additional scholarship applications will be considered.
