UM's Definitions of Standard Data Elements and Key Performance Indicators

In 2021, the University of Montana Office of Institutional Research began a process of defining data elements frequently used in analysis and assessment. This ongoing work was undertaken by a diverse group of campus constitutents and data stewards. Read here for the current list of definitions.

IPEDS Peer Institutions

The Office of Institutional Research conducted a statistical analysis of institutions to generate a list of peers for use in comparing IPEDS data. This list sometimes differs from a peer list we use internally for comparisons. The IPEDS peers list is:
