Corequisite Class Success

The University of Montana offers an option for students who need remedial support in math or writing to take a corequisite. This allows the students to improve their foundational understanding of the topic while earning college credit. It is a metric measured nationally as part of the Complete College America project. Studies have shown that students are more likely to be successful using the corequisite path as opposed to the traditional remedial educaiton pathway. This dashboard measures the percentage of students who enrolled in the corequisite course along with the percentage who successfully completed the college level course. A successful completion means that the student would have to earn a grade of C- or higher. Students who withdrawn or make grades of D or F are not counted as a success.
