Petition Waiver
Petitioning to the Academic Standards Committee (ASC) allows students to request an exception to academic policy such as credit limits and pre-requisites. If your faculty supervisor and the internship coordinator recommend you submit a petition to the ASC, please complete and submit the petition linked below.
Additional details:
- Students cannot take more than 16 credits in a semester in which they are doing an internship, and the internship credits count towards this 16. If a student wishes to take more than 16 credits during the internship semester, they must petition the Academic Standards Committee to do so. Petitioning does not guarantee that said request will be granted.
- Petitions to the Academic Standards Committee are due the second Wednesday of each month. Petitions will not be considered during the months of June and July.
