Personal Summary

Malin Stearns Johnson is a Missoula attorney in solo practice focusing on employment law. Malin has been rated A (pre-eminent) by her peers in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and recognized as a "Rising Star" by Mountain States Super Lawyers.

Malin holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Notre Dame and graduated with high honors from the University of Montana School of Law in 2004. She served as Co-Editor in Chief of the Montana Law Review and represented the School of Law on the Negotiation Team that placed second in the nation in 2003.  After law school, Malin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sidney R. Thomas of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Malin is married to attorney C.J. Johnson and has three children.  Malin teaches Legal Writing and Employment Law.
