Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana
A Momentous Year
2015 was a momentous year for the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana: the elevation of Hon. Sidney Thomas ’78 as Chief Judge of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, regional championships for our student negotiation and national moot court teams; a top-three national finish in environmental moot court; visits from the presidents of the American Bar Association and the Association of American Law Schools; creation of the multi-disciplinary Max S. Baucus Institute; a new dean and recognitions for faculty excellence and contributions to the bar; being named a "best value" law school; and, of course, a $10 million gift for the ages from Zander and Andy Blewett.

As we continue our proud tradition of excellence in legal education, the students, staff and faculty wish you and yours a successful and prosperous 2016.
