Professor Gordon Receives Recognition from UM and ELI
The University of Montana will present Professor Stacey Gordon with the Montana Faculty Service Award Friday, April 29 at the UM Employee Recognition Day celebration. Additionally, Professor Gordon was recently notified by the Environmental Law Institute (ELI) that a chapter she authored for the book What Can Animal Law Learn from Environmental Law has been selected as the best work published by the ELI Press in the last year.

Professor Bryan Speaks at Law, Environment Conference
Professor Michelle Bryan presented last week at the 14th Annual Law and the Environment Conference at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland. The conference theme, "Novel Challenges – Novel Solutions: Innovation in Environmental Law," included speakers and attendees from across Ireland and Europe. Professor Bryan's talk, part of the conference's plenary session, was on the role of community land use regulation and fracking.

Montana Supreme Court Hears Oral Argument at UM
The Montana Supreme Court heard the oral argument in the case of the City of Missoula v. Mountain Water Company on Friday, April 22 at the University of Montana during law week. Missoula Community Access Television (MCAT) has provided the recording of the hearing online.
