Personal Summary

Marcia Holland has been an adjunct professor working with Professor Greg Munro in the Trial Practice class and now will be lead instructor in the class for the 2014-15 academic year.

Ms. Holland worked as a supervising attorney at the Alaska Public Defender Agency for twenty-two years where she was a senior trial and appellate attorney.  Ms. Holland also served on the Alaska Supreme Court's Criminal Rules Committee, Criminal Pattern Jury Instructions Committee, on the Alaska Bar Association's Bar Examiner's Committee, Professional Responsibility Committee, and Appellate Law Committee. Ms. Holland also served on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Criminal Justice Department's Advisory Committee.  

Ms. Holland earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Montana in 1976 and her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1982, where she was a member of the law review.   Ms. Holland has also been on the faculty of DePaul College of Law where she also was a non-candidate student in the LL.M program in taxation and at the University of Dayton College of Law.
