Enrollment, Graduation, and Alumni Employment Data

master of public administration. Learn to transform communities and organizations through effective public policy, administration, and leadership. Be a catalyst for social progress by learning the tools to address complex societal challenges.

The UM MPA program is designed to enable both pre-career and in-service students to complete the degree within two years. Full-time students typically complete the degree in four semesters (excluding Summer terms); part-time students can complete the degree within 24 months by taking two courses each Fall, Spring, and Summer term. Our program is designed to be flexible, allowing students the option to take fewer courses per term, which could extend their time to degree completion. Students in our joint/dual degree programs often have an extended time-to-graduation rate because they are completing two degrees simultaneously.
