Micro-Credential in Nonprofit Leadership and Development

We now offer a micro-credential for nonprofit professionals to advance their skills through leadership and development coursework. This fully online micro-credential is a partnership between the Department of Public Administration and Policy at the University of Montana and the Montana Nonprofit Association. 

FAQs

This micro-credential serves an unmet need for nonprofit professionals to obtain additional training in board management, fundraising, and program planning and evaluation. The micro-credential is open to individuals who already hold a BA (in any field) with a 3.0 or higher and subject to course capacity.

You will receive an electronic badge from the University of Montana to post on LinkedIn. Students receive their badge upon completion of the three required courses, a project in each of these courses with a B or higher, and presentation of one of these projects at the annual Montana Nonprofit Association (MNA) conference.

$500 per class; student application rate for Montana Nonprofit Association (MNA) Conference (approximately $100)

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for fall, spring, and summer.
