The Department of Public Administration and Policy offers a variety of scholarships through small stipends to graduate level teaching assistantships to assist faculty. The scholarships are announced via email by the Chair and posted on this website each spring. Please check back periodically.
DPAP scholarship and teaching assistantship applications open in the Spring of each academic year. To apply, you must be a fully admitted MPA student with a 3.5 or higher GPA. If you are newly admitted and do not have a graduate-level GPA, your undergraduate GPA should be 3.5 or higher. This is open to MPA/JD, MPA/MPH, MPA (general), and MPA/nonprofit track students. All online and in person students are encouraged to apply. Again, you must be fully admitted and, if awarded, registered for 6 credits. The scholarship will be applied to your tuition bill.
