Professor Gagliardi Receives Presidential Faculty Award
Professor Elaine Gagliardi of the Blewett School of Law has been awarded the 2017 George M. Dennison Presidential Faculty Award for Distinguished Accomplishment. The award is given to a faculty member whose accomplishments have brought significant recognition to the University at the regional and national levels.
At the School of Law, Professor Gagliardi teaches in the areas of business and estate planning. She currently serves as Associate Dean of Students and as Director of the law school’s Annual Montana Tax Institute, and has previously served as both academic Associate Dean and Clinic Director.
Professor Gagliardi is an Academic Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and of the American College of Tax Counsel. She is also a past Chair of the State Bar of Montana’s Business, Estates, Trust, Tax and Real Estate Section.
Professor Gagliardi will be presented with the George M. Dennison Presidential Staff Award for Distinguished Accomplishment at the University of Montana Charter Day Awards Ceremony on February 16, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom.
