Katy Stack is Blewett School of Law’s new Director of Career Development. A 2010 graduate of the School of Law, Katy has extensive connections with the bench and Bar throughout Montana. She clerked for U.S. Magistrate Judge Keith Strong (ret.) and U.S. District Court Judge Dana Christensen before opening her own successful law practice here in Missoula.

“As a lifelong Missoula resident and graduate of ABIII School of Law,” said Stack, “I'm thrilled to return to my roots and hope to be of service to Montana's legal community through this role."

In addition to her legal background, Katy has a master’s in psychology and experience working with vulnerable populations.

Katy began transitioning into her new role on a part-time basis on September 9 while wrapping up her legal practice.

"I'm so excited to begin working with students as the Director of Career Development,” she said. “I hope to help students direct their passion for the law into enjoyable and successful career paths while connecting employers from Montana and around the country with our top-notch legal scholars.”
