About the Contest

Dates

The contest will run from June 16-30, 2021. Courses must be watched during this time frame (previously watched courses do not apply).

The Prize

Each member of the winning team gets to pick a new book of their choice! (up to $200 total)

How to Win

A team will be designated as “top learners” if all team members complete the LinkedIn Learning course/pathway selected by their team.

  • If more than one team achieves top learner status, then the team with the highest total number of team members completing the chosen pathway/course will be the winners.

How to Participate

Create a team

  • Gather coworkers or other colleagues that want to explore a professional development theme together and form a team.

  • The more people on your team, the greater chance you have to win.

  • Designate one person as the “Team Learning Captain.”

Register for the Learning Contest

  • Registration requires the names of team members, the name of the team captain, and the professional development theme to be explored. (Register here!)

Watch courses in LinkedIn Learning

  • Team members report to the Learning Captain when they have completed the course. 
  • Courses must be watched from June 16-30. Courses watched previously in LinkedIn Learning do not count toward the contest (but good for you for taking advantage of this resource on your own!)

Report your results

  • At the end of the contest, OOLD will ask Team Learning Captains to enter the name of each team member who completed the course/pathway and share some overall impressions of how the learning challenge went (i.e. were the courses valuable? What did the team learn together?)
