Dr. Terry Weidner is professor emeritus of Chinese Politics at UM and former director of the Mansfield Center. He came to UM in 2003 following seven years as a Chinese political and economic analyst for the Foreign Broadcast Information Service in Washington, DC and stints as the Associate Director of International Programs at the University of Kansas, and Director of the Asian Affairs Center at the University of Missouri. His academic interests include Chinese political economy, Chinese foreign policy and U.S.-China relations.
