Personal Summary
Randi Edwards is a Senior Program Officer at the Mansfield Center. Born and raised in rural Montana, Randi understands the importance of bridging divides, strengthening democracy, and providing opportunities for cross-cultural engagement to audiences who might not otherwise have the opportunity. She studied Japanese culture and language at the University of Montana, and after graduation lived in Japan for five years teaching English with the JET Program. After returning from Japan she joined the Mansfield Center in 2020. At the Center, she manages programs and special projects related to East and Southeast Asia, including the YSEALI Academic Fellowship on Environmental Issues and Project Bridge. Randi is deeply passionate about the Mansfield Center’s mission of fostering globally minded leaders of integrity through the exchange of dialogue, cultures, ideas, and experiences.
