Tuition, fees, and educational materials may be paid for by a grant from the Defense Language National Security Education Office if our course capacity has not been met. Travel, lodging, and meals are paid for by your unit.

Students will have access to all required study materials and a small library of books and movies but students must bring their own laptops. Computers will not be provided. Courses are conducted at the DCLCP office. Should you need any other materials you can ask your instructor or follow up with your CLPM about your educational needs.

There is no minimum class size, however we limit the maximum class size to 6 students and under, to ensure everyone is getting individual attention.

There is no billeting in Missoula, MT. We recommend that students stay at the Residence Inn, which offers a kitchenette in the studio, a complementary breakfast, and access to the gym facility.

Class typically starts at 9:00am and finishes at 5:00pm (with additional homework in the evening). Exact times are left up to the discretion of the instructor. We do not teach over weekends.

For each language we have one lead instructor, one adjunct instructor, and one to two teaching assistants. Tutoring is available upon request and at the availability of the instructors.

The student needs to bring a laptop computer in order to access the internet. They will be accessing non-DOD, first hand material. Class materials are provided. The student is also requested to bring any supplies which may be needed for note taking on a daily basis (notebook, pens, highlighters, etc).

Yes. Attendance is the responsibility of the student. All absences need to be coordinated with your lead instructor. If you miss an excessive number of contact hours your CLPM will be notified.
