Q: What is the attire for the program?
A: Business casual.
Q: Are tuition, fees, books, and room and board included?
A: Tuition, fees, and educational materials may be paid for by a grant from the Defense Language National Security Education Office if our course capacity has not been met. Travel, lodging, and meals are paid for by your unit.
Q: What is the cost to attend DCLCP?
A: Please contact Faeez Akram from DCLCP Business Services at (406) 243-3600 to discuss course costs.
Q: Do students have access to a library, computer lab, or laptop?
A: Students will have access to all required study materials and a small library of books and movies but students must bring their own laptops. Computers will not be provided. Courses are conducted at the DCLCP office. Should you need any other materials you can ask your instructor or follow up with your CLPM about your educational needs.
Q: What is the minimum number of students for each class?
A: There is no minimum class size, however we limit the maximum class size to 6 students and under, to ensure everyone is getting individual attention.
Q: Can you describe the housing situation?
A: There is no billeting in Missoula, MT. We recommend that students stay at the Staybridge Suites, which offers a kitchenette in the studio, a complementary breakfast, and access to the gym facility.
Q: What are the class times?
A: Class typically starts at 9:00am and finishes at 5:00pm (with additional homework in the evening). Exact times are left up to the discretion of the instructor. We do not teach over weekends.
Q: Is a tutor provided?
A: For each language we have one lead instructor, one adjunct instructor, and one to two teaching assistants. Tutoring is available upon request and at the availability of the instructors.

Q: Is online training available for those who are unable to attend face-to-face sessions?
A: Not at this time. Please contact Shaima Khinjani at (406) 243-3600 to discuss your specific needs.

Q: Who is the POC for enrollment purposes?
A: Fill out an Enrollment Form here and someone from our staff will get back to you. If you do not hear within one week, please call (406) 243-3600 to discuss your enrollment.
Q: Do the students need to bring materials (books, etc)?
A: The student needs to bring a laptop computer in order to access the internet. They will be accessing non-DOD, first hand material. Class materials are provided. The student is also requested to bring any supplies which may be needed for note taking on a daily basis (notebook, pens, highlighters, etc).
Q: Is there a daily/weekly attendance roster?
A: Yes. Attendance is the responsibility of the student. All absences need to be coordinated with your lead instructor. If you miss an excessive number of contact hours your CLPM will be notified.
