Missoula College Orientation

These programs are designed to help you prepare for your first semester at Missoula College.

Spring Admits:

Spring Orientation: January 18, 2018

Spring Orientation is designed to provide you with two streamlined ways to take care of your academic advising and course registration.  We have launched a new, online orientation that will walk you through the steps necessary to clear your holds, learn about our registration system, familiarize yourself with campus resources, schedule an advising appointment, and register for classes.  This is the quickest way you can register for spring courses, and you do not need to attend an on-campus orientation if you complete the online module and advising ahead of time.  Admitted students will be able to access the online orientation the day after they are officially admitted.

To access the Online Orientation follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Moodle Account, “NetID Login”
*You can find your NetID using the online NetID lookup tool. If you have never logged in with your NetID, your initial password is the last six digits of your UM ID number (begins with 790).
  2. Access "Missoula College UM Online Orientation"
  3. Complete Orientation Steps
  4. Contact your department's Academic Advisor (contact information included in the Online Orientation)
  5. Register for courses online (after receiving your Advising PIN from your Academic Advisor)

Please note that if you have not cleared all of your holds, you will not be able to make an advising appointment.

Face-to-face Orientation option

If you would rather attend an orientation program in person, we are offering two half-day sessions.
