Degree Maps

Degree planning helps you stay on track for graduation. This site is a resource for undergraduates at UM to help plan out the coursework they need to take for their major and their academic department’s recommended sequencing through those major requirements. Review the site using the A-Z or College and School tabs to find the Four-Year Degree Map for your major. Planning out your four years at UM early will help you stay on track and make sure that you graduate in the shortest amount of time possible and with the least amount of financial commitment.

Degree planning also ensures that you can take advantage of the various experiential learning and co-curricular opportunities we offer at UM without adding more time to your path to degree completion. Staff in UM’s Office of Experiential Learning and Career Success are available to help students connect with opportunities such as internshipscivic engagement, and undergraduate research, and to ensure students are prepared for post-graduation success. Be sure to reference the ElevateU Career Readiness Guide to incorporate opportunities for developing and honing career readiness skills into your degree planning.

We strongly recommend registering for at least 15 credits each semester. Students who do this graduate in less time, save money, earn better grades, and are more likely to graduate and enter careers sooner. We also encourage you to take advantage of UM Summer to stay on track.
