Once you have decided on what major you would like to declare and have met with an advisor from that department, your new advisor will submit a change of major request to the Graduation Coordinators in the Registrar's Office at graduation@umontana.edu Your new advisor will also include the advisor of your former major into the mail request so they know you're transitioning out of your previously-declared major.

You will be assigned a new advisor within your major department to assist you with an future academic needs.
