Academic Unit Administrative Associates

Administrative associates at the academic unit (department/program/school) level support the faculty evaluation process in a variety of ways. Each academic unit handles evaluations in its own way, but in general, administrative associates are responsible for ensuring that the correct documents are used for the beginning stages of the faculty evaluation process (SEC Evaluation; FEC Recommendation; Department Chair / Director's Recommendation; Evaluation Exemption Form for Tenured Faculty, Post-retirement Recommendation, and Nontenurable Faculty Member Evaluation.) They ensure confidentiality and support the integrity of the process.

Dean's Office Administrative Associates

Administrative associates in the deans' offices support the faculty evaluation process in a variety of ways. Each dean's office handles evaluations in its own way, but in general, dean's office administrative associates are responsible for ensuring that the correct documents are used for the middle stages of the faculty evaluation process (Dean's Recommendation, Dean's Action on Appeal, Faculty Evaluation Record.) They ensure confidentiality and support the integrity of the process.

Office of the Provost Staff

Staff in the Office of the Provost process all faculty evaluation records received for the Provost's review and recommendation. They are responsible for the timely delivery of the Provost's letters communicating his decisions to the Board of Regents to faculty members and transmission of faculty evaluation documents to Human Resource Services for retention in the faculty members' personnel files. They ensure confidentiality and support the integrity of the process.
