The Mills lab has two new publications! Current post-doc and former PhD student Ellen Cheng recently published an article on the impacts of fire on snowshoe hares from her dissertation research in Glacier National Park, Montana and former MS student Julia Witzcuk recently published an article on niche overlap between coyotes and bobcats from her master’s research in the Olympic mountains of Washington. Finally, Scott’s text book, Conservation of Wildlife Populations: Demography, Genetics and Management, 2nd edition was recently reviewed in the Journal of Wildlife Management – it remains a great resource for anyone working in population ecology or the conservation and management of wildlife.
