Announcements:

Thanksgiving Break

  • RTAs won't be around during their normal times during the week of Thanksgiving
  • Our office will be staffed during that week to address any issues that arise
  • Antony Jo will be out during the week of Thanksgiving

Antivirus Protection

  • SAIT is in the final stages of upgrading Student Affairs machines to Symantec Endpoint Protection
  • The RTAs may ask users to reboot their machines when it's convenient for them to complete the process

UMontana Alias

  • For campus wide safety purposes, staff members are required to set their @umontana alias to direct to their work email
  • The RTAs are in the process of assisting all Student Affairs staff with setting this up 

SAIT Data Center Moves

  • The CAG (Citrix Access Gateway/"mystuff.sa.umt.edu") has been moved to our new data center in Curry
  • The SAN (where your files on your network drives like J:\ and P:\ are stored) will be moved in the near future - SAIT will be doing this outside of normal business hours so you shouldn't experience any outages
  • Moves will continue throughout this semester and winter break, you will be notified if any servers hosting your applications will experience downtime

Office 2010

  • SAIT is in full swing moving to Office 2010, if you would like to use it enter a ticket
  • Once you have upgraded to 2010, Outlook 2007 will no longer work on your computer
