Self-Study Report and Exhibits

The University of Montana has an accreditation review every ten years. Our accrediting agency, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) made its Evaluation Committee Visit April 12-14, 2010. In preparation, the Accreditation Steering Committee worked with the campus community to complete an institutional self-study to address the nine standards used to measure the quality and effectiveness of the University and its programs.

The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities sent its Comprehensive Evaluation Report in late July, 2010 reaffirming the University's accreditation! The report included seven commendations of areas in which the University is doing well. It also included seven recommendations for improvement, all of which the University is addressing.

The self-study report is available here for review. In addition, the exhibits referenced throughout the self-study and the supporting materials required by the NWCCU are compiled here, organized by standard.
