The main campus spans 56 acres at the base of Mount Sentinel along the Clark Fork River and includes the park-like Oval at the center of campus, more than 60 architecturally unique buildings and a 25,200-seat football stadium. UM's 180-acre South Campus offers student housing, a golf course, soccer fields and an outdoor track facility. Missoula College occupies two sites in central and west Missoula. A perfect setting for your next conference or meeting.

Garnet Ghost Town - 20 miles to the west of Missoula is Montana’s most intact ghost town - Garnet. Located 11 miles up the dirt Garnet Range Road is an abandoned mining town that dates from the 1860s. It still has the Wells hotels, Kelly Saloon, Davey’s Store and many outer buildings, preserved and intact to view.
Garden of One Thousand Buddhas - This dedicated international Peace Center is located 20 miles outside Missoula. The Garden is just north of the small town of Arlee and been created on the 60-acre property of Ewam Sang-ngag Ling, nestled in the beautiful and expansive Jocko Valley.
Fairmont Hot Springs - Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is 1.5 hours East of Missoula and known throughout the Northwest for its pools. They have an indoor and outdoor over-sized Olympic swimming pools, as well as two mineral soaking pools. The pools are fed by a virtually unlimited supply of 155 degree natural hot spring water, cooled to various temperatures. Also has a resort, spa & world-renowned golf course.
Glacier National Park - A beautiful 2.5 hour drive, passing Flathead Lake (the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi) and through Montana’s amazing mountain ranges.
Yellowstone National Park - This 4 hour trip is a little farther from Missoula, but well worth the trip.
