GRE Prep Course

Are you looking to move forward with an advanced degree? Research shows that the investment in your own education pays off in increased earnings and less unemployment over a lifetime. The first step on your journey is to complete the Graduate Record Examination. The GRE course helps you demonstrate the verbal, mathematical and written skills needed to pursue a graduate degree, and is the most widely accepted marker of University readiness across the US.

In order to help you prepare for the exam, the University of Montana has developed an online GRE preparation course with an in-course mentor that is designed to help you successfully complete the Graduate Record Examination. The course allows you to prepare for the GRE at your own pace and curates all the resources you need to be successful. Topics include: Overview of the GRE, General Test-taking Strategies, Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. The course is supported by a professional course mentor, who is available to address GRE-related questions. An adaptive math program is included to help you brush up on basic to advanced math skills. Writing support is also available for the analytical writing section of the test through the University’s Writing Center. As participants get ready for the test, they will receive guidance on how to sign-up for the GRE and what to expect on test day. Further information is provided on how to apply to graduate school at the University of Montana.
