Bureau of Business and Economic Research

The Bureau of Business and Economic Research is a research department within the School of Business Administration at The University of Montana, Missoula. We produce a variety of economic and industry data including annual economic forecasts for the United States as well as Montana, its industries, and counties.

Disability Services for Students

Disability Services for Students (DSS) assures that programs of The University of Montana are as accessible to and usable by students with disabilities as they are for any student. DSS coordinates reasonable modifications for students with disabilities, advocates for an accessible and hospitable learning environment, and endorses self-determination by students with disabilities.

Diversity Advisory Council

The Diversity Advisory Council seeks to encourage, advocate, and facilitate communication, education, and relations among persons of various races, physical conditions, religions, national origins, citizenship, genders, ages, socio-economic backgrounds, and sexual orientation at The University of Montana. The listserv is open to ALL members of the campus community interested in helping UM enrich our campus through diversity.

Foreign Student and Scholar Services

Foreign Student & Scholar Services (FSSS) provides services to all incoming and continuing foreign students at UM. We also love hearing from our alumni who have moved onto "life". The FSSS office interacts with admitted and current foreign students of The University of Montana. FSSS oversees the International House, which is a location for foreign students to gather and meet.


Grassbank list is for anyone such as ranchers, government employees, natural resource managers, conservation professionals, and trade industry representatives that are interested in communicating and facilitating the implementation of innovative rangeland conservation tools such as grassbanks.

Griz Card Center

The Griz Card is the official University of Montana identification card. It provides easy access to University of Montana resources and packs a wealth of innovative technologies into one powerful and convenient card.

Information Technology

Information Technology services at the University of Montana consist of a centralized organization (Information Technology or IT) and a number of distributed services controlled by various colleges and organizations. IT provides a broad computing, network, and telecommunications infrastructure, supports enterprise level software, and offers a range of technology support services for the Missoula campus. This organization also coordinates with the other Montana University System campuses, the local community, and the state to ensure consistency of offerings and policy.

Internship Services

Internship Services provides students with comprehensive services including resume and cover letter assistance, internship opportunity development and advertisement and coordination of the entire internship process;  provides employers with comprehensive services including assistance with recruiting, interviewing, managing, and evaluating interns; and provides faculty with comprehensive services including classroom presentations and workshops, assessment of the internship learning experience, retention and graduation data, and records maintenance.

Kyiyo Native American Student Association

The purpose of our organization is to bridge the faculty and students of the University of Montana with the communities of Missoula and surrounding areas. Through extra-curricular activities and community building, we will engage others in our cultural traditions in order to unify and promote the cultural identity of American Indians/Alaska Natives.
