A Fight Against Drinking and Driving

As Missoula community members weekend after weekend are being arrested for DUI and lives are being taken from drinking and driving, we have decided to create a Facebook page for awareness to the epic problem. Hopefully we will be able to share stories and resources for people to use in saving themselves from a DUI or even killing themselves or someone else.

Founded in 1918 at UM, we're a sorority dedicated to promoting sisterhood, cultivating leadership, encouraging intellectual curiosity and advocating service.

Archery Club

We are a club through the University of Montana and our purpose is to provide a place and time for people to practice archery of all experience levels.


We pledge to conduct ourselves and our affairs with honesty, humility, and integrity to best serve all students of The University of Montana and community of Missoula. We commit to the pursuit of achieving common goals through communication, determination, and mutual respect. In our efforts to utilize our diversity and respective resources, we will encourage positive discourse with the participation of The University of Montana student body, faculty, and the community of Missoula. We will continually improve our relations, accessibility, and transparency to students and community. We further pledge to develop connection and communications efforts between The University of Montana student body and its administration. Beta Alpha Psi is an international honorary organization for financial information students and professionals that enhances the educational experience by providing interaction with professionals; professional development programs on campus; regional and national meetings; and community service opportunities.

Foresters' Ball

Student dance, held every year on campus since 1915 (excluding two years during World War II). We build an 1800's logging town inside a gym, hire a live band, and throw a "Swingin' Good Time" of a dance for over 1,000 people. All the proceeds of the event go directly to scholarships for the students who helped put the event on.

Griz Lacrosse

The University of Montana men's lacrosse team.

The purpose of our organization is to bridge the faculty and students of the University of Montana with the communities of Missoula and surrounding areas. A student group devoted to raising awareness about peace and justice issues locally and internationally. We host the Peace and Justice Film Series each semester.

UM Allies

The goal of UM Allies is to promote a campus environment that is inclusive and supportive of all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

UM Forum for Living with Appropriate Technology

The UM FLAT is a student-run sustainability demonstration house. We host events and provide a meeting space for groups, grow a garden and keep chickens, have the first solar panels on campus, and showcase a number of green building projects.

UM GRIZ-led Students' Group

UM hockey team
