Registration Information
We are very excited to announce that we are using a new camp registration system - UltraCamp!
Here are some ways you can prepare for camp registration so that it goes smoothly.

If you have attended summer camps with spectrUM before you already have an account, and can click on the UltraCamp Link above and select “Forgot your login information?” to reset your password. Your username is your email address.

Before registration day, log in to your account and fill out any account information that you can so that registration is quick and easy.
Members register early and receive a discount on all summer camps.
Purchase a membership on UltraCamp. Only one membership per family necessary to access benefits.

Get Set to Be a Vet, Ages 6-9
Full-day camp, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Meet real veterinarians, discover how to take better care of your pets and learn about animal adaptations! Develop your skills as you learn how to suture cuts and apply casts to broken bones. Meet special animal guests and more!
Magic of Chemistry, Ages 7-10
Full-day camp, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Don't miss this exciting camp, full of potions, explosions, and magic! Explore the fascinating world of chemistry as you extract DNA, make slime, create exploding elephant toothpaste, and more!
June 19-23
Treasure Island Adventures, Ages 6-9
Full-day camp, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Walk the plank and dive into science! Craft your own boat and send some ships down to Davey Jones' locker with your own catapults and cannons. Explore gemstones, make precious jewels, and challenge your fellow pirates to follow a treasure map.

Camp Contraption, Ages 7-10
Full-day camp, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Calling all engineers, tinkerers, and inventors! During this camp, you will build, build, build! Create Rube Goldberg Devices, flying contraptions, catapults, bridges, and more. Explore the engineering design process as you build windmills and earthquake-proof buildings.
STEAM Camp, Ages 6-9
Half-day camp, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Explore Science Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math in spectrUM's STEAM Camp. You will conduct experiments, build contraptions, and create art!
July 10-14
NASA Camp, Ages 6-9
Full-day camp, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Throw on that space suit and explore all things astronomy in this NASA inspired camp. Build moon habitats, engineer and launch water rockets, create space art, and explore the stars.
Robotics, Ages 7-10
Half-day camp, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
At Robotics camp, you'll build robots from legos and program them to carry out rescue missions and complete obstacle courses. Explore Ozobots and Cubelets and learn about how robots can sense, think, and act!
July 17-21
Animal Superheroes, Ages 6-9
Full-day camp, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Can you jump as far as a snow flea? Or run as fast as a cheetah? What about lifting as much as a Hercules beetle? Have fun this week with spectrUM and the Missoula Butterfly House and Insectarium as we explore animal superpowers! Each day features fun adventures, games, and interactions with live Bug Ambassadors. We'll play to learn all about the impressive adaptations, abilities and strengths of animals!

CSI: Crack the Case, Ages 7-10
Full-day camp, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Learn how investigators solve a mystery! Work with a team to examine mystery substance and use fingerprint and footprint clues to crack the case. In this camp, you are the detective, and you must use all the forensic tools you have to solve this mystery.
Makers Academy, Ages 11-14
Full-day camp, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Do you love to create? Join this exciting camp to bring your ideas to life. Spend a week making and tinkering. Design and make your own creations with a laser cutter, 3D printer, and more.
August 7-11
SciGirls, Ages 8-12
Full-day camp, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Explore nature, conduct experiments, and participate in citizen science at spectrUM in this girls-only science camp! Meet and work with female scientists and role models and develop new skills that will help you in STEM fields.
Space Camp, Ages 6-9
Half-day camp, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Join spectrUM and Families First Learning Lab to explore all things astronomy in this fun space camp. Build moon habitats, create space art design rockets, and explore the stars.

One of our most popular camps! Experience spectrUM's most fun and beloved science activities. We'll explore everything from chemistry and robots to animals and astronomy. This exciting week will get you geared up to go back to school!

Full-day summer camps run Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Half-day summer camps run Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 12:30 pm.
No camps will be held the week of July 3rd.
Summer camps will take place at spectrUM's location at the new Missoula Public Library.
Summer camp participants need to bring their own lunch.
Need based scholarships are available. Scholarships are limited, and applications should be submitted as soon as possible.
