Transportation

University-funded air travel and student, faculty, and staff commuting comprise the bulk of UM’s scope three emissions, approximately one third of our total emissions footprint. Encouraging active and sustainable transportation to and from campus is an important strategy as we pursue our climate action goals.

The Associated Students of the University of Montana (ASUM) Office of Transportation offers a variety of resources to campus community members to support active and sustainable transportation.

This is just a handful of the resources available through our Office of Transportation. To see more, check out their website and the transportation layer of the campus map!
