Building sustainable communities requires many kinds of literacy. The University of Montana has many academic programs and departments that help students gain that literacy. Below is a list of programs and departments that have sustainability at their core. There are many other programs at UM that integrate these principles according to their disciplines and we encourage faculty and students to share that information with us and the campus community.
