No, RSVP is not required. However, if you are planning to ride with a large group (more than 8 passengers) we encourage you to contact us at udash@umontana.edu so we are prepared to accomodate. If more than one large group plans to ride on the same day, we may encourage certain times to make sure we have enough room for all passengers.

Depending on river flows, the float from Sha-Ron to Campus can take between 1.5 and 3 hours, not factoring in put-in time and any stops along the way. To be safe, always plan for the trip to go longer than you expect. If you catch the shuttle at 6 PM, expect to be getting off the river at sunset or later.

ASUM Transportation is only responsible for the safety of its passengers while on the bus; passengers are responsible for their own safety on the river. Check the weather forecast before you go and be sure to wear appropriate clothing to protect from sun, rain and cold.

Under extreme weather conditions, such as severe thunderstorms, shuttle service may be cancelled. In the event that service is cancelled the live tracker will be updated to notify passengers.
