Summer Academy 2023: June 18 - July 28

What is the Summer Academy?

The TRIO Upward Bound Summer Academy at UM is a free six-week residential college prep program that simulates the college experience. Participating students will take classes that help with their upcoming high school curriculum and prepare them for college. Students will also participate in fun activities with community and campus partners. In the past, these activities have included high ropes courses, whitewater rafting, and attending a local baseball game.

This program is designed for students who are college-bound, dedicated learners (with a GPA of at least 2.5), and positive community members.

Incoming juniors and seniors (students who will begin 11th or 12th grade in the fall following the Summer Academy) will take College Success, a 2-credit college course, at no cost!
